Black Forest Motorcycle Tour

If you love face roads, beer and laughing with like minded people then this is great opportunity. I was apprehensive as I usually ride with my mates in a group but having been on this tour I now realise how much work and effort goes into planning one of these tours. In all the trips I’ve been on with my mates we never experienced roads or fun quite like this. We will be back!

No Frills. Loads of Thrills!

I have just returned from the B500 tour. This was my second tour with GMT.
What a fantastic time I have had! This is an out and out riders tour. There are a few stops for sightseeing, and to take in the views, which are stunning, but the emphasis is on riding. The roads are outstanding. Because of the drop off system, everyone can ride at their own pace.
Snips was our guide, and ensured that everyone had a great time. Because other guests are like minded the conversation regularly returned to motorbikes.
Hotels are adequate, but basic.
If you want to take your bike, and have five days of fantastic fun on it, riding just for the sake of riding, on superb roads, in a beautiful environment, book this tour!

The B500

And yet another fantastic tour the b500 black Forest . I’ve been touring with GMT for 3years now and met some great new friends along the way. I have just come back from the b500 Black Forest tour with the newest tour guide Craig Parsons AK (snips). And what a fantastic and friendly guy he is always there if you need advice on improving your riding. and I have seen it first hand . The first time I ever went on tour with guided motorbike tours I was a little bit nervous as I normally ride with my friends. But meeting Chris Seagal for the first time within the first five minutes I felt that I had been riding alongside him for years and also gave me a few pointers on my riding which I found extremely useful and very grateful for.
Touring with guided motorcycle tours is not like any other tour company that I have heard of and have seen when I have been on holiday touring. If you think that you will be led like ducklings following mother duck you will have a big shock. Don’t get me wrong you will not be pushed out of your comfort zone but your riding skills will change without you even knowing. You can ride at your own pace whether it’s slow or whether you are a more aggressive Rider. And if you are like me I like a bit of speed and more aggressive riding. so i end up going on a head of the group so I can have a bit of fun.( With the ok of the tour guide of course.) I am so looking forward to booking another tour whether it will be this year or definitely next year. And looking forward to making some new friends along the way.
Thanks GMT for yet another fantastic holiday. Chris and Snips

Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Trail Motorcycle Tour

Other than a long flight the tour went brilliantly and as planned. The local tour guides were excellent, friendly, informative and very helpful every step of the way. The routes we encountered were challenging at times but there was the option to take the easier route! Overall, a very well run tour, well organised and the scenery and culture is an out of this world experience. I am currently looking at GMT’s other fly ride tours based on the wonderful service I have been fortunate to be part of on the Vietnam tour
Many thanks and good luck for the future

An amazing experience and one that I would recommend to anyone who wants the security and safety of a professional company that truly know what they are doing. A credit to the industry, well done.

Alps Motorcycle Tour

What a brilliant experience; the scenery was beautiful and the routes were first class. Snips was a great guide and made sure that everyone was looked after. The days were long, on average 10 hours, and you had to be prepared to ride hard at times to catch up if you were near the back, but it was all worth it to travel through such iconic passes. I’ll definitely be booking again next year. Just can’t make up my mind whether to do the same tour or one of the others; I expect they’re equally excellent

Self-Guided Scotland NC500 Highlands Motorcycle Tour

Scotland Tour 2017.
Coming up from Surrey was a long trip but well worth it. Started in Dunbarton north of Glasgow the 6 bikes (including Guide Glen) made our way up around the NC500 threw beautiful countryside and many many castles. Stopping for coffee breaks and munches and lovely hotels overnight in the Scottish highlands. The roads were absent of traffic and the weather was sunny. Even John O Groats was sunny and warm. Only a few midges down the west coast. The Caingorns roads were a delight to ride. Unrestricted and let loose to ride the way you like was a real pleasure. Thank you for a great trip.

Alps Motorcycle Tour

The tour started at the euro tunnel,The first day was a hard ride to the Swiss border and our first overnight stop after that it all seems like a blur wonderfull roads fantastic scenery and passes so many passes, temperatures from very high 20s to two degrees at the top. there were some very long rides between the different countries some of which were on motorways which was unavoidable. The guide was a great guy he kept us up to date with pictures and videos he was one of the group eating and drinking with us laughing and helping all the way.
The hotels were good, beds clean the showers fantastic after a long day riding in 28 degrees the breakfasts were ok if you can call a european breakfasts that ( you can’t beat a cooked breakfast before a long ride) but you could fill up on cereals, bread and scrambled egg ( In what universe is puff pastry a breakfast) you could also make a sandwich or two for the road.
The final ride to the tunnel was not so bad Snips (the guide) made it interesting by stopping at a First World war cemetery and then at Agincourt were the British in retreat gave the French a though thrashing.
Although this was my first guided tour I would highly recommend Guided Motorbike Tours.
But please before you undertake this sort of tour understand the distance involved read the itinerary, I have done some long distances riding and I felt a bit sore in the saddle area on the ride home from the tunnel to Teesside.
And finally I will use them again possibly the Black Forrest.

Both me and me pal (Dynamic Dave) have Just returned back from the Black Forest trip and were still buzzing, 5 Countries (6 if you include the UK) in 5 days, we feel like extreme bikers now. Ha Ha. Seriously, the trip was fantastic, with great company, unbelievable views with surprisingly, amazing weather all trip. Snips the tour guide could not do enough to help you out, providing great riding tips through his many years experience and going out his way to ensure all riders were catered for regardless of experience. Highly recommended and a great value experience. Hope to meet up again with you all soon on the next one. Cheers to all.

France Motorcycle Tour Vosges Mountains & B500

Had the best biking experience ever last week with Chris and the gang on the Vosges tour. I loved every part of the holiday, from the incredible roads and scenery to the camaraderie within the group. Chris and the team have put together the perfect package for a taster of touring around Europe. I will be a regular customer for along time to come.

France Motorcycle Tour Vosges Mountains & B500

Returned to the UK yesterday from what can only be described as the best bike tour I’ve ever been on. This trip is only 5 days but what a magnificent experience through and to the Vosges mountains & summit followed by a lively run on the famous B500 road in Germany. The best roads and scenery but the real pleasure and success of this tour was Chris Seagal as tour guide and the excellent planning and support from his team. Chris is friendly, professional, caring and very funny! He made myself and the rest of the 14 man (1 woman) team relaxed and at ease from the off. A consummate professional ensuring our group of riders with all different levels of riding experience & from different walks of life all felt included and cared for. Great laughs, company, great food (& beer) and great accommodation all made for a trip that will long be remembered. You will be inspired! Congratulations Chris & team a first class job! I’ll be back on another soon!

Morocco Motorcycle Tour

Hi im going to cheat a little here as i have actually done this trip twice, both in 2016 and in 2017 and guess what ive pre booked again 2018 and this is why:

Morocco in the gate way to Africa.
You leave Europe behind and so the adventure will begin.

I have will travel though mountain passes and valleys so high the tops can not been seen, with tarmac ribbon like roads draped over, along and though them.
I have seen deserts that go on for so long you can actually all most see the earth curve.
The people are incredibly welcoming, you soon feel very relaxed.
The places ive stayed, every where from a camel ride into the Northern Saraha desert under a tent with a camp fire to a mountain carved hotel room over looking a Arab valley.
Its not to mention the friends you will make, please dont let the fact that you ridding solo stop you.
Trust me, that changes on the first day
The experience of this trip alone will change you, it makes you stronger, it will open your eyes to the beauty what is out there

Guided motorbike tours with Chris and Craig do a absolute fantastic job with this trip.
Extremely well planned and the best bit there proper honest bikers.
Ive forgotten how many trips 4/5? with another two pre booked.
If your reading this considering booking, gust do it and ill see you on it.

European Adventure Tour

I did this trip in 2015.
It was my first big trip and if im honest i was nervous especially not knowing anybody.
That soon changed on the very first day.
The trip was planned perfectly and i was really made to feel relaxed.
There so much to see on this trip and if you love to camp and enjoy ridding its definitely a must. The feeling you get sat at the campsite what will turn out to be your mates is fantastic.
Ive done 5 trips with guided motorbike tours and to be honest i trust them.
There approach to customer satisfaction is unmatched.
Thats why im booking for the 2017.
Hope to see you

Morocco Motorcycle Tour

There are a lot of tours and lots of great things that you can do on your motorbike but Chris, Snips and the team at Guided Motorbike Tours have managed to combine the both into what can only be described as incredibly exciting adventures.

I have just returned from their Morocco tour from 14 April 2017 until 30 May 2017 and it was definitely one of the best experiences that anybody can have on two wheels.

The organisation of the tour, the size of the group, ( 7 people), the knowledge conveyed by the company and Snips, our tour guide, was fantastic and this meant that the whole experience felt safe and comfortable with everyday providing a new adventure and different type of challenge and experience. The routes were well researched and variable on a daily basis.

Morocco provides a unique opportunity to enjoy every type of road and to witness the most beautiful scenery that the world has to offer. Couple this with extremely comfortable and well chosen hotels, the use of “local” or traditional cafes during the day and the experience of riding through this amazing country while witnessing the local way of life. This tour provides memories to treasure for a very long time.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Chris for organising this tour, Snips (Craig) for leading it and my fellow riders for making this tour an adventure in a life time. Thanks again and good luck and I wish you every success for the future.

Morocco was my second tour with this company. I had a super time exploring the varied and roads and scenery.of this fascinating country. Snips was our leader and he was faultless in organising routes and hotels whilst leaving the group the freedom to chose stop points for meals. The guides are well equipped to meet unforseen mishaps, fortunately nothing required on this tour but the team preparation is all important.
Morocco itself has some fabulous roads. A real mix of twisties and sweepies. Occasionally the road stops completely and some ingenuity may be required!
There were 2 days off the bike in Chefchouen and Marrakech both offering wonderful respite, views and entertainment. We all picked up some great photos and gifts from the souks.

I recommend both the company and this tour for a memorable experience. Well done Chris and Snips.

Vietnam Northwest Mountains Motorcycle Tour

This was my first guided motcycle tour and was not disappointed.
Hanoi was a real eye opener and set the tone for the rest of the trip, sensory overload every day with out fail. The sights, smells, and just how busy the place is was a bit overwhelming at first but soon relaxed into it as everybody seems happy and friendly.
Once on the bikes it takes a days riding to get out of the hussle and bussle of Hanoi. You are soon treated to magnificent views which will be with you for the rest of the trip, take a good camera!
The home stays are a good insight into the way the Vietnamese live and the family’s you stay with are very welcoming.
Hotels, don’t expect 5* accommodation outside the city’s, you stay in the best available which are nice for Vietnam. Don’t expect uk standards and you will be happy enough.
Riding through the villages on the mountain passes you have to be vigilant and expect the unexpected, cattle dogs children all roaming free. Your guide will give you hints and tips how to stay safe and are never far a away if you have any problems.
Great trip, well organised, and will be using this tour company agian in the future.
Down sides? None really but would have loved to have stayed longer.

Italy Motorcycle Tour

Incredibly beautiful scenery and gorgeous roads. This is a tour packed full of splendour and excitement and the tour guides make it such a ball. I was thrilled with the level of attentiveness from the tour guide and will not hesitate to recommend these polite and helpful guys to anyone.
Italy is officially my favourite European country now!

Morocco Motorcycle Tour

An amazing experience and one that I would highly recommend. Lots to see on route and the tour guide took us to some fantastic places, of which, I have spent many hours looking back over on my Ipad.
Great hotels, was very impressed with the quality of hotels and the attention to detail along with the meticulous approach from the company. Extremely attentive at all times, which, made me feel like I was in safe hands at all times.
Have booked another tour with Guided Motorbike Tours and can’t wait. Thanks for a great job. Well done.
My only criticism was the weather, although not the companies fault, I would have moved it a month ahead and have the tour run from April and not March as it was still cold on the highest parts of the High Atlas Mountains. The other sections were fine and once again I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

NB. I see Chris has moved the tour to April and October now based on feedback, another great reason to go with this company, they listen to their customers! Unlike some of the other companies I have travelled with. I think I will be sticking to these guys from now on. Great service

Having never travelled this far anywhere in the world I was very nervous. From the moment i met chris at the airport I felt relieved and more relaxed listening to his reassuring stories of past tours and adventures. A meticulously planned tour where everything just flowed. I found mnyself very peaceful and just enjoyed it knowing that i didnt need to worry about anything.
I cant recommend Vietnam enough, its a bloody awesome country and if you want to use professional guys at a good price then Chris is definitely the guy to go for
Thank you for an awesome time, see you in Morocco!
