Guided Motorbike Tours Ltd are the first and only Motorcycle Touring company that are offering such a tour that caters for new riders or riders entering Europe for the first time, because we understand how daunting for some, travelling abroad on your bike for the first time can be

The aim of this tour is to introduce those who have never ventured into Europe on two wheels at a non progressive pace into the fun world of touring, knowing that everyone is on an equal level & that the tour is geared around building confidence & knowledge from crossing the Channel to advice & guidance of what you need & how to use it. You don’t need to be a novice rider to join this tour, it is open to any rider but the pace is more relaxed and the emphasis is on educating riders and providing useful information to break them in gently to touring abroad, not to put them off. Most riders from this tour go on to book more elaborate tours with us soon after

Tour Reviews

5.00 based on 2 reviews

Having recently changed my bike from a Sports to a Cruiser and never ridden or driven abroad I was rather anxious. My concerns were dismissed day 1 thanks to ‘Snips’ proffessionalism and expert guidance. The amount of riding to start with was suitable for a first timer. The progression at the end did take me out of my comfort zone but wow! I did it! Snips gave me hints and tips to improve my riding and as a female rider I did not feel patronised. The accomodation and stops were ideal. The mountain roads, rain, snow, wind and shine, we had it all. Thanks, am now ready for more.

Hi Jaimee
On behalf of Snips and GMT, thank you for your kind words and we are so pleased you enjoyed the experience. Already looking forward to you joining us again. It’s a big jump for many riders, heading off into the unknown but you did it and you should be proud. Stay safe and take care

An excellent introduction to Europe and touring in a group, the foul weather didn’t bother any of us because we were having so much fun. Very many thanks to Snips for his professionalism, tutoring, pointing (items of interest) and most importantly helping my wife park her bike at the end of each day!! I’m sure we’ll be back for something bigger and bolder. Simon and Linda.
