  • 5 star review  I booked the trip to Slovenia & Croatia as it fitted in with my time scale of work & family commitments, it was advertised as an adventure trip, it was certainly that ! Craig (snips) our tour guide, what a top bloke, he kept his cool in all temperatures & inspired confidence in the whole group for the whole trip, due to his great knowledge & his organisation The route we covered was epic, the roads/ scenery/ stops / accommodation were all spot on. Very lucky to have found myself on the trip with 9 other great people that were all reading off the same page, it was a pleasure riding and socialising in such good company, i've not laughed so much in a long time ! It was asked at the time of arrival home what was the highlight of my trip.. There wasn't one, it was all fantastic ! would i do a tour with this company again? Now let me think.. I'd go again tomorrow ! 10/10 recommendation from me

  • 5 star review  Not long back from the 10 day Slovenia/Croatia tour and wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to Guided Motorbike Tours. To summarise:- Craig "Snips" Parsons (our Guide)..... top man! On duty looking after the 9 of us 24/7..... Knowledgeable on the areas visited, and ensured we had a great time both on and off the bikes. The organisation:- Each night we stayed in excellent accommodation, dinner reservations booked if required, all we had to do was turn up..... completely hassle free!. The Route: What can i say.... 3,000 miles.... France, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy...... awesome roads, amazing passes, stunning scenery, some challenging weather, but would I do it again..... Oh yes! We had numerous stops, but please be aware, this is a biking holiday, not a coach tour! The group..... a top bunch of guys (and girl!)..... These people and Snips made the tour for me...... thank you and I hope to ride with you all again! We were told this would be an "ADVENTURE TOUR" before we left..... it certainly was, with a capital A! Only do this tour if you want to experience the best roads, top hotels, fun and laughing until our sides hurt! A must do for any serious bikers...... I can not recommend highly enough..... I'll be back!

  • 5 star review  I've been back from the Aug/Sept 2017 Slovenia/Croatia tour for just over a week now, and I still have the holiday blues! ūüôĀ I was apprehensive about going on a bike tour, I've been in and out of biking for the last couple of decades and I didn't know what capability everyone would be at. I didn't know what to expect in terms of the other people on the tour and I rode down to the tunnel really not knowing what to expect... Well, what can I say... The experience was so much more than I was expecting, the biking was fantastic, the scenery and roads truly amazing, the hotels/guest houses/B&B's all unique and charming in their own way - but by far the best and most memorable part of my trip were the 10 other people on it! I haven't had such a laugh in a long time, we biked hard together all day, enjoyed swimming in lakes, taking in the sites, burning some rubber - followed by drinks, food and great laughs all together every evening! Priceless! Our guide Snips was bang on the money, organised, diligent, clear and focused on every customer and their individual requirements/capability - but above that he was one of the team, enjoying a beer and a laugh with us every evening. He went above and beyond on a daily basis, and that is what I suspect sets these guys apart from the rest! I'm pretty much a workaholic, often get restless on holiday, want to come back after 5 days and get back into the routine, not this time - I want back and I want back SOON!! Thank you ūüôā

  • 5 star review  Thank you for a great tour it was exactly as I anticipated long tiring but well worth the effort. Snips was a very guide, we had one or two problems which were worked out with ease, he included as much as possible .WELL DONE SNIPS. While on tour Snips tried his best to keep us up to date with the passes we rode and pictures he took but it was time consuming so I asked him if he would send me the videos and a list of the passes we did at a later date he agreed, would you ask him to email me his address so I can send him a memory stick (the memory stick will contain all the pictures I took which can be deleted once he has uploaded them ). Once again thank you for a wonderfull ,educating tour. (and a sore a_rse).

  • 5 star review  It was my first time on tour the whole company made it easy for me. plus snips is a good tour guild he helped me out with my cornering on the first ride out then after that I enjoyed myself a lot more going up and down the mountains that was the highlight for me. The b500 road is just to fast for me the first part is. But the 2nd part the twisteds was great. Snips did a good job on the roads plus at the tunnel made things do easy for us all. I thank you all a lot. Wayne

  • 5 star review  Just got back from a tour around the b500 black Forest with the new member of staff (snips) and what a legend he is. thanks snips for a amazing chance to play on what can only be described as and epic race track sorry meant to say cruise through the black Forest b500 . Also taking in some awesome views along the way. This is not my first tour with this company (guided motorcycle tours). And it definitely won't be the last. (This is not a bus tour company). Guided motorcycle tours is a company that will let you ride at your own pace whether you are a novice or an advanced Rider which allows you to have as much fun on two wheels as possible. A big thank you to Chris and the team at GMT for yet another amazing tour. Now time for me to get back to work and earn some more money for the next tour.

  • 5 star review  This was my first tour and my first time riding in a group. I was quite apprehensive at first but everything was explained well by our tour guide, Chris. The first day's motorway riding pushed me out of my comfort zone straight away and it was quite hard work keeping up with more experienced guys on bigger bikes, but I managed it! Once we were into the tour proper I really settled into it and pushed myself and my riding skills through hairpins and fast corners alike. Definitely have improved my skills and confidence, including knowing my limits and riding at my own pace. Don't worry you won't be left behind! Scenery was stunning though I must point out if you want to pootle around gazing at everything then this probably isn't for you, the focus is on the roads and riding. And some fantastic roads they are too, with plenty of viewpoint stops included anyway. The hotels were great, and you definitely get value for money. Chris is keen to foster a team spirit in the group and everyone got on well and were supportive of each other. I'll definitely be going on another tour!

  • 5 star review  There are a lot of tours and lots of great things that you can do on your motorbike but Chris, Snips and the team at Guided Motorbike Tours have managed to combine the both into what can only be described as incredibly exciting adventures. I have just returned from their Morocco tour from 14 April 2017 until 30 May 2017 and it was definitely one of the best experiences that anybody can have on two wheels. The organisation of the tour, the size of the group, ( 7 people), the knowledge conveyed by the company and Snips, our tour guide, was fantastic and this meant that the whole experience felt safe and comfortable with everyday providing a new adventure and different type of challenge and experience. The routes were well researched and variable on a daily basis. Morocco provides a unique opportunity to enjoy every type of road and to witness the most beautiful scenery that the world has to offer. Couple this with extremely comfortable and well chosen hotels, the use of "local" or traditional cafes during the day and the experience of riding through this amazing country while witnessing the local way of life. This tour provides memories to treasure for a very long time. I would like to say a hugh thank you to Chris for organising this tour, Snips (Craig) for leading it and my fellow riders for making this tour an adventure in a life time. Thanks again and good luck and I wish you every success for the future.

It connects Bruck in the state of Salzburg with Heiligenblut in Carinthia via Fuscher Törl and Hochtor Pass at 2,504 m. It is a toll road but it is worth every single penny (£25)
A memory that will last for a long time!

Today you head into the Julian Mountains on the Austrian and Slovenian border as well as take the opportunity to ride through¬†VrŇ°ińć Pass.¬†The VrŇ°ińć Pass, with an elevation of 1,611 metres, is a high mountain pass across the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia. It is the highest pass in Slovenia, as well as the highest in the Eastern Julian Alps. A day truly worth looking forward to!

This, in addition to some spectacular roads, you’ll be sure to have a breathtaking day.

Entering Slovenia through the mountains | October 2016

Postojna Cave will be your first visit of the day (availability pending, it will be right next door to the hotel) where you will have the opportunity to visit this amazing attraction, have lunch afterwards before heading off to the lakes.

In the afternoon, you’ll ride to¬†Plitvice Lakes National Park, where you’ll stay the evening after¬†exploring the magnificent waterfalls. It is a long and fun filled day today and a lot is packed in but the views will make it all worthwhile!

DAY 6 - The Adriatic Coast

You’ll continue your journey south through the Zadar County, hugging the Bosnian border and pass through valleys with a brief stop at the Visovac Monastery eventually heading west back towards the coast. You’ll follow the coast road around to Split and rest for the evening in your hotel

DAY 7 - Rest Day

Today is as relaxing or as adventurous¬†as you wish, spend the day in the town of Split, a town on Croatia‚Äôs Dalmatian Coast, it is known for its beaches and the fortress like complex at its centre, Diocletian’s Palace, erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century. Once home to thousands, its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. Within its white stone walls and under its courtyards and galleries are shops, bars, cafes, cathedrals, hotels and several houses.

There are many small islands in the bay of Spit which you can also explore. Or head for the stunning seaside port of Omis, a beautiful small town between Makarska and Split

Hvar is a city and port on the island of Hvar, part of Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia. The municipality has a population of 4,251 while the city itself is inhabited by 3,771 people, making it the largest settlement on the island of Hvar.

҆olta is an island in Croatia. It is situated in the Adriatic Sea in the central Dalmatian archipelago, west of the island of Brańć, south of Split and east of the Drvenik islands, Drvenik Mali and Drvenik Veli

Or why not take the opportunity to go river rafting, an amazing experience. (let us know if you wish to participate in this activity so we can book in advance) https://raftrek.com/tour/cetina-river-rafting/

DAY 8 - Adriatic Coast Road - D8

When riders talk about Croatia and Slovenia they always mention the Dalmation Coast road and that is exactly what is on the menu today! You’ll head north on a 250 mile journey, a relatively long day with plenty of miles and lots of curvy roads alongside beautiful turquoise waters edges but the best bit is riding alongside the coast. The road is an abundance of twists, turns, straights and moderate hairpins all with a stunning view. You rest for the evening in¬†Koper

From Koper in Slovenia you’ll be heading through¬†Italy and¬†continue through the northern Italian Alps and ride across¬†the Italian Dolomites. Finally crossing back over into Austria, through Innsbruck and back into Germany, resting for the evening on the border with Austria. Germany being economically better priced and it’s beer being¬†unequivocally¬†better flavoured, it’s a warm welcome from your days riding!
