NEW TO TOURING MOTORCYCLE TOUR
The New to Touring Motorcycle Tour tour is designed and developed exclusively for new riders* and riders who have never travelled abroad before on a motorcycle but have an urge to do so.
Join our New to Touring Motorcycle Tour in an exclusive first, as we take a handful of like-minded novice riders on their first journey into Europe on this spectacular mini tour of the Ardennes Valley and Vosges Mountains in France and surrounding areas
Guided Motorbike Tours Ltd are the first and only Motorcycle Touring company that are offering such a tour that caters for new riders or riders entering Europe for the first time, because we understand how daunting for some, travelling abroad on your bike for the first time can be we have devised an excellent tour to provide you with confidence and support, which, more often than not, leads to more challenging adventures
The aim of this tour is to introduce those who have never ventured into Europe on two wheels at a non progressive pace into the fun world of motorcycle touring, knowing that everyone is on an equal level & that the tour is geared around building confidence & knowledge from crossing the Channel to advice & guidance of what you need & how to use it. You don’t need to be a novice rider to join this tour, it is open to any rider but the pace is more relaxed and the emphasis is on educating riders and providing useful information to break them in gently to touring abroad, not to put them off. Most riders from this tour go on to book more elaborate tours with us soon after
France, Belgium, Luxembourg & Germany (Castles, Natural Parks: Vosges, Ardennes, Lorraine, Avesnois)
Along the way you will
- Learn to ride with confidence and safely
- Learn how to ride in a group and stay safe
- Learn how to use the “Drop-Off System“
- Learn how to navigate with a Sat Nav
- Be offered tips to improve your riding skills
- Be given practical advice on bike maintenance when touring
- Make a bunch of new friends for life
- Have fun during the evenings (Tour guide interacts and socialises with you)
- Be treated with respect and dignity
- Be given full support and guidance
And much more…
You will NOT
- Be riding at a fast or progressive pace
- Be left behind or abandoned intentionally
- Be riding out of your comfort zone
- Expected to ride at a level you are uncomfortable with
You will also receive full support travelling through customs on the Eurotunnel, have your hotels organised for you and you shouldn’t get lost or left behind. Your tour guide will even recommend somewhere to eat each night and will accompany the group at all times!
The tour is based in a number of hotels, this is deliberate to give you a feel of a longer more comprehensive tour, where staying in in one area wouldn’t allow you to explore the country fully.
There is a day of rest in the beautiful stunning Vosges mountains, depending on when you book, April or October, you’ll be treated to dazzling scenic views in April of the launch of the new seasons flora and fauna and in October, the views are just as beautiful with golden and crimson leaves on the trees ready for autumn.
With so much to see along the routes, we are certain this tour will appeal to any rider who is looking to branch out, improve their riding skills and gain confidence riding through Europe. We will be on hand to provide you with all the support you need.
Most riders that book the New to Touring Motorcycle Tour go on to book a longer and more adventurous tour with us either the same year or the following year and they are welcomed back with open arms (they also get a generous discount!)
We hope you can join us and make this a very memorable opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills and come to realise how exciting touring really can be
