I am fairly new to biking, would this be suitable?
Yes, it is a more relaxed paced tour and there are more scenic stops throughout the day. It is a casual paced ride so as long as you are confident, you should be fine
Are evening meals included?
No, we prefer, (from experience) to let you choose what you want to eat. Having tried including set menu meals with our tours in the past we found them to be very unsatisfactory in many ways. We didn’t feel we received good value for our clients money or the kind of portions that would be suitable for a growing biker!
Is Scotland expensive?
We find that some things in Scotland are more expensive than in England. Typically hotel accommodation is much more expensive as it is limited on choice and often gets booked up many months in advance. Food and drink however, is relatively similar in price.
What is the weather like?
Typically from May to September the weather is pleasant with temperatures reaching highs in the mid 20’s. However, June can be a frustrating time for many due to the high number of midges.
When is the best time to go?
A great time to go is during May or September and October, when the crowds are quieter and the weather is still very pleasant. August is sometimes busy with tourists and motorhomes/caravans.
