BLACK FOREST GERMANY
Stunning long sweeping bends, beautiful mountain scenery and gorgeous little towns and villages
The Black Forest Motorcycle Tour isn’t just for speed demons. Because we use a drop off system, it allows all riders of varying abilities to ride at their own pace. There is no need to feel you are being left behind or holding the rest of the group up. Our Escorted Black Forest Germany Motorcycle Tour is an incredible route for bikers who like roads with ribbon like tarmac and race track style bends! You will experience a unique route created by Guided Motorbike Tours that captivates some of the best roads in the Black Forest
The tour takes us through Belgium and into Luxembourg with a stop off in the Ardennes Valley for lunch on day one. On the second day of the tour we make our way through the Black Forest, soaking up only the best, most scenic roads on offer. In addition to this daily schedule for the next few days we eat cake and drink coffee during the day and scoff some great meals during the evening along with some beers, German beers, or wine, whilst chatting over the fantastic and fun time we’ve had during the days riding, all escorted by one of our professional, fun, friendly and helpful tour guides who’ll also be on hand to offer anyone that requests it, advanced riding skills and tips to get the most out of your experience.
The scenery in the Black Forest is sublime, the roads are like black ribbons flowing through the tall pines that line many of the routes. We will also spend time on the famous B500, also known as the one of the “Best biking road in Europe“, more so because it has some of the most inviting and exciting bends and straights, perfectly matched to give you a sense of being on a race track!
So take the plunge and dive on in, you can book online with a deposit and secure your place on one of the dates. The tour spaces do go fast (really they do!) so if you are keen to join this tour, don’t spend too much time thinking about it or you may regret it.
IS THIS SUITABLE FOR ME?
This is a road / tarmac based tour and does not have any off road riding. The tour is lead by a professional tour guide who will allow riders the flexibility to go on ahead or ride at their own pace if they wish. As long as you are a confident rider you will be okay. Last year we had two new riders and they coped brilliantly
WHAT ARE THE ROADS LIKE
The roads do allow you to pick up the pace due to the very nature of their bends, curves and hairpins. There are sections with tight bends and steep inclines and declines
DAY 1 - CALAIS TO LUXEMBOURG
On the first day we meet in Folkestone at the Euro tunnel Terminal (Full details and instructions provided before hand), when we board the Euro tunnel (pre-booked for you by GMT) for France. We will then head through the Ardennes Valley for lunch before heading for the hotel in Luxembourg
DAY 3 - RHINE FALLS
Our day ended yesterday riding a section of the B500. Today we head into Switzerland, only crossing the border briefly, to visit the Rhine Falls
The spectacular waterfall is impressive and we take some time to take some photos and learn about the falls. From here we head north back into Germany and through the western side of the forest. There are more tree lined beautiful roads to ride before arriving back at our same hotel
DAY 4 - OPTIONAL REST DAY
Today is an optional day to have a rest, look around Triberg, grab souvenirs or go for a ride out using our route already planned for you. Or, just jump on the bike and find some great roads to ride, there are many stunning roads all leading to somewhere exciting!
DAY 7 - REIMS GUEUX - CALAIS
We head back to Calais to catch the Euro tunnel but there is a chance to pop in and see the Reims-Gueux. A 2 hour ride and some 140 miles from the hotel on route to Calais we will stop for a while to grab some photos and a bit of racing history to break up the day.
The circuit Reims-Gueux was a Grand Prix motor racing road course, located in Gueux, 7.5 km west of Reims in the Champagne region of north-eastern France, established in 1926 as the second venue of the Grand Prix de la Marne.
We arrive in Calais to catch the Eurotunnel some time in the late afternoon

Yes you will. You will need a way to guide you along the route and to the hotel
DO YOU PROVIDE THE MAPS?
Yes, we provide a map file in GPX format for your sat nav for each day.
WHAT ARE THE HOTELS LIKE?
The hotels are of good standard. Some hotels may have a spa or swimming pool so bring your bikini!
Where a rider is sharing a room with another rider, some hotels may have rooms that are classed as “doubles“, it is a large king or queen size double bed frame with single mattresses and single bedding (this is very typical of German and Austrian hotels and is sometimes unavoidable)
WHAT ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE FOR EVENING MEALS
